Bayfront Medical Center operates a 502-bed hospital and trauma center located in St. Petersburg in metro Tampa Bay.  It has been awarded “Best Run Hospital", JCAHO, “Best Nursing Staff”, and “Working Mother Top 100 Best Companies To Work For”.  It was once a location for the Ian Fleming 007 novel "Live and Let Die" when it was known as Mount Park Hospital.
